Artist’s Statement
Vivid color and rich, textured surfaces are key elements in my contemporary, abstract artwork. Using a variety of mediums and techniques, I integrate layers of paint, paper, text and embellishments to create mixed media paintings, collages, wall sculptures, greeting cards and lamps. The challenge and excitement begins as the image evolves.

I have been creating art for the past 14 years. Since 2002, I’ve been a member of Artists’ Own. I have exhibited locally and regionally in juried shows, galleries, businesses, art fairs and gallery walks. My artwork is in both public and private collections.
